Welcome to Puppieware

When we first launched our Pawsome Doggie store in March 2016, we chose the name Pawsome Doggie because we loved the play on words. I mean, talk to any dog owner, and at some point in talking about their dogs, they've replaced the word awesome with pawsome.

Fun names aside here's what we found--when we told people we ran a store called Pawsome Doggie, they had a hard time understanding exactly what we were all about. Once I explained how we are an online store selling dog-theme bakeware (plus dog birthday supplies and gifts for dog lovers), they got it.

But after the thousandth time explaining Pawsome Doggie, we realized it shouldn't be that hard for people to understand what we were all about.

So we started playing around with new names for our store and our brand. And since where our store has been growing the most was in bakeware (see our three new cake pans below), we decided that the suffix -ware should be somewhere in our name.

Since doggieware was not available for us to use, I present to you Puppieware.

I love our new logo for Puppieware. It includes some of the same graphic elements of the Pawsome Doggie logo, such as the pawprint in place of the "a." But it also includes new graphic elements, such as the wagging tail on the "p" of Puppieware.

While we have changed the logo on our store and in any future communications you may receive from us, our old logo will continue to appear on our products until they all sell out. And considering how fast they are selling, it shouldn't be too long.

Our best-selling dog bone shape cake pan is moving quickly. We sell about 300 a month but are projecting to sell three times that amount each month by the end of the year. So I expect we will be getting new inventory with the Puppieware logo on it soon enough--perhaps in time for Holiday 2017.

For the time being you can reach our store using pawsomedoggie.com and puppieware.com and we'd love to hear your thoughts on our new name Puppieware.
